The first full-fledged battle of the Revolution was on June 17, 1775. Patriots realized they could more than hold their own against the British, then overcame the Siege of Boston, and George Washington was confirmed as leader of the Continental Army.

If you are descended from men or women who provided service to the Patriot Cause at this time, please consider joining the Bunker Hill Society.
